Coros has officially discontinued its famous Pace 3 smartwatch- and ended the era of one fine-tuning gadget. For the last few weeks, many customers around the globe complained about a shortage of the devices, so now, in an official confirmation, the company has declared the termination of the device from the market. It means Coros Pace 3 will not produce new units, and once the inventory goes out of stock, it will not return. It is a bold decision of the company, even when the watch is still selling very well in many countries.
The main reason behind the decision of the company is the similarities of this watch with the newer Pace 4 version. Both are identical watches with minor changes and also share nearly the same price tag. In the US, the Pace 3 is available for $199, and the Pace 4 for $249. To avoid the direct competition of both home-grown watches, they have decided to discontinue the old one. That means once the device sells out, they will not replace it with newer units.

When we checked Amazon, Best Buy & other sites in the US, India, and some other countries, we saw some inventory left. If you want to purchase a fitness-centric watch at a good price, then it could be your last chance. Users who already purchased this smartwatch don’t have to worry about its support. Coros will send software updates and service support to the watch, though we can not say for how many years. Which smartwatch are you using, the old one or the new one?
